First Cast in the Family

 

So the story goes that Griffin was chasing Ailee after his soccer practice and they both were falling down and having loads of fun until the last fall... On the last tackle/fall, he landed on her and the rest is history.  I knew the cry was different, but of course waited a few days to get it checked.  We didn't have it x-rayed cause there was at least a buckle or bend, which could lead to a true break if she fell on it, if it wasn't broken already.  She was a champ and only asked for her "ribbon" to come off a few times.  Thankfully it only stays around for 3 weeks.

I didn't realize how much he's changed until I looked at his picture from last year.  I'm proud of our little pre-k-er for all his physical and internal growth he's had over the last year.  We had a great summer and now fall is in the air.  With fall brings schedules that I crave after a free-spirited summer.  We have a full fall with school, soccer, community Bible study, awana and life group.  We are excited to see the colors turn and welcome cooler days.

 This morning, Ailee wasn't too excited about holding hands for a picture, BUT Minnie was thrilled.  I guess we'll keep Minnie around a bit longer.
