Check out Griffin workin' it with the ladies. Well actually, he's more into his snack, but it's still so stinkin' cute.

Best BUDS

Here's the deal, whenever Danie and I visit each other it has to be horrible weather. That's just how it goes. Last time I went up to see her there was a crazy spring blizzard and this time she came down here and we had lovely rain and cold temperatures. We did, although, make the best of it. We stayed around the house for a few days and finally toward the end we managed a few days trips which included Telluride and Junction, oh and one birthday party that Danie will not forget. D-har, this post is for you so you know that I love you and appreciate you making the trek with the little man. I loved watch our sons play together (OMGOSH I just said our sons...).

I'm sorry I had to kick Emily Post out a few times (wink wink!). Don't forget we haven't heard from "in the big woods" in like 4 months. This might just be a good time for that.

Friends from "the hills" visit!

Reagan and Danie came for a week and Griff couldn't get enough of her little

guy. They played so well together (besides Griffin taking cars from him). More pics to come!

Canyonlands with the Pollard FAM FAMILY

What an amazing weekend! We were able to get out of town for a few days and enjoy the outdoors. It was Griffin's 2nd time camping and he did great. He stayed in his pack & play the whole night except once and it was after 4, but still slept 'til 7. (Thanks for the tent Freeds!)

The first day we went on a jeep trail. Pretty exciting, with much mom guilt for the little head banging around. Once again, he fell asleep at the most jarring part. Once up to the top we hiked around and did some rock hopin'...

Momma Foot and Baby Foot

Then in the evening, we headed out to this waterfall. Griffin could not get enough of it. He just kept wanting to walk right under it. What a water baby we have!

Don't worry it's just sand water. It looks a lot worse then it really was.

What a great cousin, thanks Cam, for being so good to our little guy!

On Sunday, on our way home, we stopped just past Moab at Negro Bill Canyon. Oh man, it was amazing. The huge canyon and stream was beautiful. We loved it and Jeff even liked it because we knew our little guy would love playing in the water so much. Enjoy the pics. I totally recommend this hike, by the way. It's about 2 miles on a sandy trail...even with some shade and water crossings.

Nature Baby with his TEVA sandals

...of course he fell asleep on the way back...shout out to the Berlet Fam for giving us this amazing pack!

one last shot...finally home in his own bed and loving it. Also, cuddled up to a metal tractor. Gotta love this guy!
