Sharing His Thoughts

On our way home from Junction Saturday (getting 3 month pics), Griffin was talking up a storm. It's amazing to watch him little mind work. What a miracle he is... (if you listen carefully, Mema is telling Jeff the storyline of Out Of Africa)

What Is THIS????

Our son wants to be a THUMB SUCKER. What is going on here? I keep trying to replace it with the "binki" sometimes it works and other times he just spits it out and puts his hand back in. I must admit, it's cute now - but not quit sure how long that will last. I just got a new swaddle blanket from my neighbor (with Velcro) so I'm hoping this will keep his arms down while sleeping - away from him MOUTH.

Garden - Step 3

Build The Beds...

What a great hubby. He didn't even complain about making my garden beds (well maybe once). I can't wait to plant my garden, but at this point I don't have any green sprouting, so we'll see how it goes.

Just Had To

BEFORE...

AFTER

Just a few days ago, Jeff and I decided the "white" mudflap had to go. We know about the unwritten rule of cutting baby hair, but it had to go.

Garden - Step 2

Plant The Seeds...
This morning Cyndi called and said, "It's planting time." I'll be the first to say, I have no idea how to garden...but in years passed, I let the summer go 'cause I didn't know where to begin...so this year will be a TOTAL learning experience. Like, for example, I started these seeds today and just put one hole in each cup and placed the seeds in there- was I supposed to put a few holes in each cup, was I supposed to put just 2 seeds in the hole? When I get 5 plants growing in my small cup, I'll know that was wrong. Then there's a question of watering, oh where do I begin? Oh and one other thing...BUGS. How do I keep those nasty things away from my garden without chemicals? Speaking of keeping things away, how in the world will I keep our "sweet" bulldog out?

Carran Muhn

Prayer Request!

As many of you know, my Aunt Carran lost her husband, Van, last week to a long battle with cancer. Please pray that she REALLY feels the Lord holding her up. She's an amazing woman - we love you, Carran.

Shot To The Leg...and Jeff's To Blame

On Wednesday, Griff had his 3 month check-up...and yes...2 shots. He gave out the saddest cry...a mix between a bear cub and a baby that had lost it's voice. Jeff said I looked at him like it was his fault our baby was in such pain...sorry 'bout that, Love. Aside from the shots, our little man gained another pound. He's now 13lbs and 10oz. That puts him just above the fiftieth percentile.

Seeds...

The Haifleys & Pollards are FINALLY starting gardens. I have wanted to do this for 3 years now. It's so nice to be attempting this with a friend. We got the little cups to start the seeds inside and will transplant them outside once they are ready. Yes, those are organic seeds... Wish us luck and I'll be posting new pics as we go. By the way, Griff and Aidan are very excited about this new experience.

My Little Dylan Turned 2!!

For those of you who don't know, I used to watch Dylan. I started watching him when he was 5 months old and just recently stopped in December (right before Griff was born). He is one of the coolest kids we know. He has such an awesome personality and a great heart. We love him so much. His birthday was March 22nd and he turned the big 2!
