Griffin received this quilt last night from my dear friend, Jen. She has been working on it the passed 4 months - putting lots of love into each detail. It's so special, with lots of personal touches...there's a Jeep, football, soccerball, and some cute animals. We once again feel loved and blessed to have such great friends. Thank you, girl, for your prayers, skills, friendship, and love. Griff is ready for there to be a baby Scull...

LOVE for Valentines Day...
Jeff, I love you so much...even though today is the day for romance, I just want you to know I feel loved by you everyday. You are so good to me and now to our little Griffy. Thank you for sharing your amazing heart with us and making us feel so special. WHO KISSED WHO FIRST: Jeff kissed me in the Pines parking lot.
WHO ASKED WHO OUT FIRST: Blind date...we went to the mall, dinner (we had stake, yes me too) and then to Borders to talk.
WHO PROPOSED: Jeff, of course! We went out to dinner with some friends and we got back to my mom's house and the whole place was decorated (my mom and his parents got the place lookin' so cute) and he asked me there on one knee. I was so nervous, I shakingly said YEEAASSS...and we prayed and read some verses...then both our families walked in...
WHO IS MORE SENSITIVE: We are both pretty sensitive when it comes to important things...but I am for things like the Oprah show.
WHO HAS MORE FRIENDS: I do...Jeff has some really tight friends and that's the way he likes it.
WHO HAS MORE SIBLIINGS: we both have two
WHO WEARS THE PANTS: Jeff makes the final decisions...but I help him along the way...you know the lady moves the neck :-)

Mema & Baby Griff
95th Annual Winter Carnival
For me, growing up in Steamboat, the Winter Carnival was something I always looked forward to. I'm excited for my family to make this a tradition. During the day there are street events where horses pull kids down the main street, three legged races, obsticle courses, ring tosses and the high school marching bang...all events are with skis ON. Saturday night, which I don't have a picture of includes the Winter Sports Club kids skiing down a run in town with flares making designs on the hill, jumping through a ring of fire, and the most famous Lighted man. The lighted man has Christmas lights twisted around him and a backpack with fireworks coming out the whole time he is skiing down the hill...just a good time!!
Griffin is in there somewhere. He was so bundled to keep warm that he slept through the whole thing. Next year he'll get to enjoy it more.

After walking around for a couple of hours we were ready for lunch. There's an amazing breakfast/lunch place we always try to get to while in town...Creek Side. Check out Griff's Smartwool hat...love it.

Doctors Appointment
Our little man has gained 2LBS!!! He now weights 9lbs 4oz...what a champ. He's also grown 2 inches. Doc said everything looks great and we'll see him again in March.
