The Jury is in...camping with the other Pollards was fabulous.
Our location was "unfabulous" for bike riding, but we'll take what we can. If you were wondering, my search is still on for an even better fit. If anyone has some suggestions for Northern or Western CO, please share. We do have a pop-up, so that is a factor for us. My dream spot would have a mellow creek with a gradual entrance, lots of trees for shade and beauty, a place the kids can ride their bikes, lots of friends joining together, and a huge fire! Simple, right?
The first morning we spent in town at red stone, creekin' it up, lunch at a cafe and then park and ice cream with the cousins.
Looks like Ailee is understanding Griff's love of motorcycles :)
After we all had the after-ice-cream-uforia, we hit the trail in hopes to put some of that sugar to good use.
I have to say, this little guy (above) in the blue, he loves Ailee. He wants to hold her hand and play together, and what does he get? "no!" Poor boy! he's so sweet and she doesn't even know what she's missing. She'll figure it out soon, K, don't give up :)
E was a good sport and lead the way to the "big rock."
How can you even resist this? Boyhood, right infront of us.
Muddy feet to go with the unders.
Sesame chicken, fresh palisade peaches, olathe sweet, sweet corn, cherries...life is good :)
Breakfast in the camper with the heater, thank you very much!
A very fabulous time indeed :)
